Whether you’re in the mood for a total makeover or simply need a new mascara, now is the time to get excited about makeup all over again. Suddenly, a wave of cool new beauty brands have landed and our faces our spoilt for choice. Get ready to meet your new favourites…

What’s the buzz: You may have already stumbled across Into The Gloss, a sassy New York-based beauty website. In 2014, founder Emily Weiss created a small makeup and skincare edit called Glossier…and it broke the internet. Now the range has taken off and it’s coming to the UK (yay!) The Millennial-pink packaging and cool names (Moon Mask anyone?) are all part of the hype, but it also has a modern, pared-back vision which feels really right for right now. “Skin first. Makeup second” is Glossier’s tagline. We’re SO on-board.
What to buy: Bloggers rave about Boy Brow, a non-crunchy eyebrow gel, and Milky Jelly Cleanser, a gentle, non-foaming cleanser. And the trendiest eye shadow to be sporting right now? Cloud Paint in Haze.
Where to get it: The exact launch date is a closely guarded secret (rumours are mid-October) so stay glued to their social channels to be first in line. A London store will follow later this year. www.Instagram.com/glossier

Asos Make-Up
What’s the buzz: Uh-oh. As if we needed another reason to put way too much in our ASOS basket, now our fave online store is launching its very own makeup range. And it’s ace. Think vibrant shades and playful packaging designed to express how you feel on the inside (with names like ‘Current Mood’, ‘Decisive’ and ‘Uncompromising’). All your staples, from bronzer to mascara, at bargainous prices so you don’t even need wait ‘til payday… *click*
What to buy: The Lipstick, £7, is rich and buttery with great colour pay-off. We’re also loving the Chubby Highlighter Stick, £9, and silky Lip Pencil, £5.
Where to get it: ASOS Make-Up launches week commencing 25th September at www.asos.com

3INA
What’s the buzz: 3INA (pronounced Mee-Nah) is the cool, affordable new makeup brand on a mission to “challenge the one-size-fits-all aesthetic”. The whopping 600-strong collection is all about having fun with colour, being bold and self-expression. We’re loving their Insta grid full of real-world beauty, freckles and gappy teeth! There’s a huge focus on newness with regular new product drops. And with prices at mostly under a tenner, we’re invited to jump right in and have a play.
What to buy: The dreamy Highlighter 201, £10.95, regularly sells out and The Cream Eyeshadow 312, £8.95, is a perfect daytime pink for eyelids and cheekbones.
Where to get it: Available now at www.uk.3ina.com, Selfridges and in their Covent Garden store.

Fenty Beauty
What’s the buzz: After months of teasers, Rihanna finally launched her own beauty line this month. Fenty Beauty (Rihanna’s surname, who knew?) is focused on RiRi’s uh-mazing complexion, which is pretty much anyone’s #beautygoal. Products for a flawless base (“to make skin look like skin” she says) and killer radiance. Rihanna’s motivation is “women everywhere should be included”, giving us brilliantly diverse shades and universal textures. Her personal input is everywhere, from the sexy names to the tactile, magnetic packaging. The video tutorials on her website show she knows what she wants, and she knows how to use it. She can be our beauty guru any day.
What to buy: IG and Snapchat have gone crazy for the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Trophy Wife, £26, AKA RiRi’s trademark glow. The Pro Filt’R Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, £26, is the hero with a gorgeous real-skin finish in 40 fabulous shades. Just make sure you get colour-matched in store.
Where to get it: Available now at www.harveynichols.com/brand/fenty-beauty/
