HARROGATE SPRING STRENGTHENS SALES AND MARKETING TEAM

Harrogate Water Brands, the company behind Harrogate Spring and Thirsty Planet, has further strengthened its sales and marketing team with three new appointments.

Greg Hatton has been appointed export and new business development manager to drive sales in new overseas markets. He was previously national account controller within route to market for Remy Cointreau and also brings industry knowledge from 11 years with drinks giant Diageo, where he was business sector controller within route to market.

Adam Poppy has been appointed regional account executive based in London. Adam has a wealth of practical experience from eight years in hotel management and will be working as brand champion to expand sales of Harrogate Spring within the hotel and restaurant sectors.

Elatia Sharkey has joined the Harrogate head office team as customer service manager after three years in client management for Capita, the international business process outsourcing specialist. Before this she spent 21 years with Lloyds Bank, working in client relationship management.

The trio join Harrogate Water Brands after a phenomenally successful year, which saw business growth of 30 per cent, vastly outstripping market growth of nine per cent.

Sales and marketing director Rob Pickering said: “It has been a great year and these key appointments will help us consolidate Harrogate Spring as the No 1 premium British water brand and help us drive our brands into new channels both at home and in export markets.

“We have a unique heritage as the UK’s original spa and first British bottled water and a focused marketing strategy as the official water of England Cricket, Ascot Racecourse and Royal Ascot.”

Branded Cap

The bespoke Harrogate Spring caps feature the brand's Royal Pump Room icon, ensuring the product is instantly recognisable as well as further enhancing the authenticity and premium appeal.

The Diamond Bottle

This striking design has been implemented throughout the Harrogate Spring family, across both PET and glass. Inspired by the classic architecture of Harrogate, the bottle’s diamonds disperse light to create an eye-catching, sparkling effect; guaranteeing stand out. The rigid diamond lattice provides exceptional strength as well as beauty.

The Iconic Label

Harrogate’s instantly recognisable colour palette of black, white and silver, introduces classic typography from Harrogate’s elegant heyday and combines subtle Far Eastern background patterns, inspired by the town's illustrious past.
The lineage along with an image of the Royal Pump Room are now also celebrated on pack.
